Shipping & Returns
What is the cost of shipping?
Shipping costs will be added to your order during checkout and is based the weight of your item. We use USPS Ground Advantage Service. (We pay exactly what you pay).

Do you ship International?
At this time we only ship within the United States. Sorry we do not ship International.


How long will my order take?
All orders are shipped within 2-3 business days after purchase and will generally arrive within 3-5 business days. If there is a delay, we will notify you. Please keep this in mind when placing your order.

A tracking number will be emailed to you upon shipment.
What if my order is damaged?
Oh no! We are so sorry if this happens!
All items that leave The Velvet Tarantula are packed with the utmost care to ensure a safe and secure arrival. Unfortunately there are times when boxes are tossed around during shipping and damage occurs.
Please note, that The Velvet Tarantula is no longer responsible for your item once it leaves our shop. Each package comes with an appropriate amount of shipping insurance equal to your item's value. If damage occurs while in transit, please contact your local USPS post office to file a claim. We are here to help if you need any assistance. Just send us an email.


Can I cancel or return an order?
We are unable to cancel your order 24 hours after it has been placed. Please keep this in mind before placing your order.
We will gladly offer you a return/refund on eligible "New" items (not Vintage or Seasonal) within 20 days of purchase date. Please email us at thevelvettarantula@gmail.com to request a return/refund. Please include your order number, email associated with the order and the reason for return. We will then provide you with instructions on how to return the item to us.
Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Thank you for your understanding.
